Equal Opportunities and Diversity

Information on equal opportunities, anti-discrimination, diversity, family matters and the UR's women's representatives can be found on the websites of the Equal Opportunities Coordination Office and the Anti-Discrimination Office.

Ombudspersons (external link, opens in a new window)

If you encounter problems related to the study programme or other aspects of your stay that cannot be resolved by the International Office, you can contact the relevant ombudsperson at your faculty. Ombudspersons are the internationalisation officers of the faculties.

Anti-Discrimination

Diversity is valued at the University of Regensburg. The University of Regensburg is committed to the principles of anti-discrimination as laid down in the General Equal Treatment Act of 14 August 2006. ‘The aim of the Act is to prevent or eliminate discrimination on grounds of race or ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual identity.’

There are many offices and facilities on campus that ensure that the UR remains a place of participation, equal opportunities and appreciation of differences, and that discrimination has no place.
