ERC Synergy Grant for Burkhard K?nig
The European Research Council (ERC) is funding Professor Burkhard K?nig's INSIGHT project through an ERC Synergy Grant. INSIGHT is a collaborative project coordinated by the University of Regensburg.
K?nig is conducting INSIGHT research in collaboration with Jana Roithová, an analytical chemist at Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands, and Markus Reiher, a theoretical chemist at ETH Zurich.
"Catalysis offers great potential for meeting the urgent need for efficient and sustainable resource conversion," explains K?nig. However, current methods of discovery and optimization are too slow to keep pace with global demands," K?nig explains.
The goal of INSIGHT is to significantly accelerate this process.
