Due to very limited capacities at the University Hospital Regensburg (UKR), the general conditions for international trainees are strictly regulated. The following information is aimed at students from partner universities of the University of Regensburg.

Trainees at the University Hospital must fulfil the following requirements:
- Study at a partner university of the University of Regensburg in the field of medicine
- Very good German language skills (at least a solid B2 level)
- Completed pre-clinical studies
- Enrolment at the home university for the entire duration of the Internship. Unfortunately, interns who have already completed their studies cannot be accepted.
- Proof of immunity (vaccination checklist)
- The traineeship must take place during the regular semester period (October to March or April to September)
Application documents
The following documents must be submitted with your application:
- Curriculum vitae
- Letter of motivation (not created via KI)
- Letter of recommendation
- Learning Agreement or internship contract
- Transcript of Records of previous academic achievements (at least two years of specialised studies)
- Certificate of enrollment from the home university
- Certified language certificate for German (level B2 or better)
- Proof of health insurance
