Enrolment During the Traineeship
Trainees are enrolled at the University of Regensburg as non-degree seeking students. During the traineeship you must continue to be enrolled at your home university.
The semester fee for enrolment is currently around �200.
Which Documents must be Submitted for Enrolment?
- Online application for enrolment (you will receive the link to the online application form on request from the International Office)
- Scan of your passport / identity card
- Profile photo for the student ID card
- Certificate of enrolment from your home university
- Traineeship contract/ ERASMUS Traineeship Agreement
- Written confirmation from the traineeship supervisor
- Transcript of Records (overview of previous academic achievements at the home university)
- Proof of health insurance (e.g. statutory health insurance, European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), AT-11, recognised private insurance, etc.)
- Language certificate, if applicable
The Student ID Card: UR Card
After enrolment you will receive a UR card, which includes the following benefits:
- Official status as a student of the University of Regensburg
- Semester ticket for local public transport
- Cashless payment in the canteen and the cafeterias of the Studentenwerk
- Library card
- Accident insurance through the University of Regensburg
- Top-up of the printer / photocopier account
