Short research stays

The first step in finding a suitable place for a research stay or internship is to find a contact person at the University of Regensburg who will supervise your research here. Requirements include that you are pursuing a PhD at another university or college, ideally one that has a partnership with the University of Regensburg.

Please look at the different faculties and contact potential hosts whose research matches your PhD research project.

Enrollment at the Registrar's Office

Have you already organised a research stay at the UR and would like to register with the Registrar's Office? As a "Visiting PhD" you can be enrolled for a maximum of two semesters. Click here to find out more about enrollment.
