School: Children 11 and up

How do I find a suitable school for my 11+ year old child?

School: Children 11 and up

Secondary school

The Bavarian school system has at least three different types of schools for children in the 5th grade (age 11) and up (for example, Sonderschule, Mittelschule, Realschule, Gymnasium), not to mention German classes (Deutschklassen) for children who do not yet know German.

Please contact the Welcome Center at info.welcome-center(at)ur.de (opens your email program) to explain your child’s individual situation and needs. We can then gladly explain your options in Regensburg and assist you further.
