Learning Agreement for Students of Other Programmes
Exchange students must also submit a Learning Agreement with their online application. In the learning agreement, also known as the course selection form or learning agreement, you list all the courses you wish to take. This ensures that the courses you take at the University of Regensburg will be recognised at your home university.
Who Will Send You the Learning Agreement form?
Exchange students who do not come to the University of Regensburg as part of the ERASMUS+ programme can obtain the Learning Agreement form from the International Office at the University of Regensburg.
When Should You submit the Learning Agreement?
If possible, the Learning Agreement should be submitted together with the online application.
As soon as we have received your Learning Agreement, we will check whether the courses are available and whether there are any restrictions. We will also check whether you have the required language skills for the courses you have chosen. If we suspect any difficulties with your choice of course, we will let you know.
Can You Change Your Course Choice at a Later Date?
Yes, you can change your course selection. The Learning Agreement that you submit with your application is a provisional course selection based on an old course catalogue. Most exchange students change their course selection after arriving in Regensburg. It is possible, for example, that there may be time conflicts between courses. Individual courses may not be offered and you may have to change your course selection again.
It is important that you keep your home university and the International Office at the University of Regensburg informed of any changes to your course selection. This is the only way to ensure that the courses you have chosen will be recognised at your home university.
