Learning Agreement for ERASMUS+ Students
Exchange students who come to Regensburg as part of the ERASMUS+ programme must also submit a Learning Agreement with their online application. In the Learning Agreement, also known as the course selection form or learning agreement, you list all the courses you wish to take. The Learning Agreement is a formal contract between the student, the home university and the host university. It ensures that the courses you take at the University of Regensburg will be recognised at your home university.
From Whom do You Receive the Learning Agreement Form?
Exchange students who come to Universit?t Regensburg as part of the ERASMUS+ programme will receive the Learning Agreement form from their home university. Most European partner universities use an Online Learning Agreement (OLA). Please contact the International Office of your home university for more information.
If your home university uses a Word or PDF form for the Learning Agreement, please send it to us by e-mail: international.exchange-student(at)ur.de (opens your email program)
How is the Learning Agreement structured?
The ERASMUS+ Learning Agreement consists of a total of 3 parts
- Before the mobility
- During the mobility
- After the mobility
The first part "Before the mobility" is important for your application. This is a provisional course selection which you can still change after your arrival in Regensburg.
In the section "During the mobility" you list any changes to your course choice.
In part 3 "After the mobility" you list the grades and ECTS you have achieved for the individual courses you have taken.
When Should You Submit Your Learning Agreement?
If possible, the Learning Agreement should be submitted together with the online application.
Once we have received your Learning Agreement, we will check whether the courses are available and whether there are any restrictions. We will also check whether you have the required language skills for the courses you have chosen. If we suspect any difficulties with your choice of course, we will let you know.
Can You Change Your Course Choice at a Later Date?
Yes, you can change your course choice. The Learning Agreement that you submit with your application is a provisional course selection based on an old course catalogue. Most exchange students change their course selection after arriving in Regensburg. It is possible, for example, that there may be time conflicts between courses. Individual courses may not be offered and you may have to change your course selection again.
It is important that you keep your home university and the International Office at the University of Regensburg informed of any changes to your course selection. This is the only way to ensure that the courses you have chosen will be recognised at your home university.
