Special offers from the UR for students with disabilities
FM equipment available for loan for students with hearing impairments (possibly also for students with auditory processing disorder and AD(H)S)
Since the 2019/2020 winter semester, two mobile FM systems have been available for (temporary) loan to students with hearing impairments (including students with auditory processing disorders or AD(H)S).
The first system is intended for traditional lecture use: lecturers speak into a microphone that can be hung around the neck and transmits the spoken language directly to either the recipient's hearing aid or headphones, while fading out background noise.
The second system includes an additional microphone that can be passed around so that this system can also be used in seminars / events with interactive elements. The transmission is again either to the receiver's hearing aid or to headphones.

The toilet for everyone in physics (Physics 5.0.17)
Barrier-free toilet in physicists 5.0.17
A "toilet for all" is a toilet that is as accessible as possible to people with different needs, including people with disabilities, older people, pregnant women and anyone else who may have special toilet infrastructure requirements. These toilets are designed to be wider, provide sufficient space for wheelchairs, have grab rails and offer other adaptations for users with mobility and other impairments. In this way, "Toilets for all" ensure equal participation in society.
Features of the "Toilet for all" at the University of Regensburg
Barrier-free access: The toilet is easily accessible.
Sufficient space: There is enough space inside so that people with mobility aids and any accompanying persons can move around freely.
Height-adjustable equipment: The height of the toilet, washbasin and stretcher can be adjusted.
Grab rails: Grab rails are provided near the toilet and washbasin.
Emergency call system: An emergency call system is installed in the toilet.
Lounger with shower: There is a lounger with shower head in the toilet.
Ceiling hoist: A ceiling hoist is available in the toilet.
You will find the toilet between H34 and H35 in the physicists' building.
