Mobility-impaired students can use the campus navigation app "UR Walking (external link, opens in a new window)" to display barrier-free routes to every room at the university and college. To do this, simply select the "barrier-free" option under "Further settings".
The room information (external link, opens in a new window) of the University of Regensburg enables you to find any lecture theatre or seminar room at the university using the search function. The description shows the part of the building and the floor on which the room is located. In addition, map sections and, in some cases, photographs of the rooms are displayed. Important information for wheelchair users and students with impaired mobility is also stored for some lecture theatres and seminar rooms. This mainly concerns the barrier-free accessibility of the rooms.
For students with mobility impairments, a map of the university is available in PDF format (external link, opens in a new window) with details of the lecture and reading rooms as well as barrier-free facilities (toilets, lifts, ramps, car parks, etc.) and main routes. If you have any suggestions or comments on how we can continuously improve the map, please get in touch with us. Your suggestions are always welcome!
Information on services and barrier-free routes in and to the central library can be found at /bibliothek/arbeiten/barrierefrei/wege/index.html. (external link, opens in a new window)
