Guidelines for Dealing with Discrimination and Conflicts

The University of Regensburg is committed to ensuring that the personal rights of all members of the university are observed and respected. Our Guidelines for Dealing with Discrimination and Conflicts | PDF (opens in a new window). (This PDF is not accessible) aim to explain the principles underlying this, prevent potential violations, and demonstrate solutions for boundary violations and conflicts in cases of discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying, cyberbullying, and stalking. Dealing with discrimination at the University is transparently regulated by the Conflict Guide; it informs representatives of all status groups about the relevant counseling centers, complaints, and arbitration procedures.

At the same time, the University of Regensburg is committed to identifying and resolving structural sources of conflict and deficiencies.

In July 2018, the university management approved the guidelines and they came into effect with the signature of the president. Revisions were made on March 23, 2020, January 1, 2023, and June 26, 2023. Please also note the additional information in the Netiquette for digital communication | PDF (opens in a new window).
