How we help
Sometimes it can be that everything becomes too much and challenges seem difficult to overcome. Perhaps you have already tried one or two things to find a solution, but it hasn't quite worked out yet..
As a student at the University of Regensburg, you can seek a confidential discussion with the Psychological-Psychotheraputic Counselling Centre to find possible solutions and new perspectives. We offer counselling and support for psychological stress, regardless of whether it is related to your studies or to other areas of your life.
Examples of topics covered by our student support and counselling unit include
- Work difficulties, exam anxiety, motivation problems
- Identity crises, life planning, partnership and parental conflicts
- Psychosomatic complaints, depressive moods, anxiety, loneliness and suicidal thoughts

Appointments and contact
For student support and counselling units, it is best to send us your enquiry directly by email.
The counselling sessions are absolutely confidential and we are subject to legal confidentiality! They are free of charge and usually take place centrally on campus in our offices in the UR student centre. If required, counselling can also take place via video or telephone.
Due to the very high demand, there may be longer waiting times at times.
