Tips on how you can make good decisions

  1. Trust your intuition
Your gut feeling is based on experiences that are stored deep in your subconscious. If your mind hesitates but your gut says "yes" - listen. Intuition is often a reliable guide.
  2. Accept uncertainty
There is no such thing as perfect certainty. Every decision involves a certain amount of risk. Instead of trying to control everything, concentrate on the essentials - and accept that not everything can be planned.
  3. Get to know yourself better
What do you really need? What makes you happy? If you can clearly state your needs and goals, it is easier to make decisions that really suit you - even if others advise otherwise.
  4. Reduce complexity
Too much information can paralyse you. Set yourself a deadline, sleep on your decision - and then make it consciously. Quality of information is more important than quantity.
  5. Have the courage - and stick to it
It takes courage. Even if a decision later turns out to be less than ideal: You have made it to the best of your knowledge. And almost everything can be corrected. You learn from every decision - and grow from it.
  6. Set yourself a deadline
Indecision grows with time. Give yourself a clear deadline by which you want to make a decision - and stick to it.
