Vice-president for Digitalization, Networks And Transfer

Prof. Dr Susanne Leist has been a member of the university leadership since 2017; as vice-president for digitalization, networks and transfer, her tasks include

• promoting the strategic use and value-creation-oriented management of IT at the UR
• promoting the expansion of the UR's transfer and networking activities with business and society.

Susanne Leist studied business administration at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. After gaining her doctorate in 1997, she worked at the University of St. Gallen until March 2004, where she qualified as a professor in July 2004. After holding the C-4 professorship for General Business Administration, in particular Business Information Systems, Finance and Banking at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder, she was appointed to the Chair of Management Information Systems, in particular Business Engineering, at the University of Regensburg in December 2004. From 2011 to 2016, Leist was Dean of Studies at the Faculty of Business Economics and Real Estate at the University of Regensburg. She has been Vice President of the University of Regensburg since 2017.
