Future Workshop for Sustainability

The Sustainability Future Workshop offers students the opportunity to contribute their ideas for a more sustainable future for the University of Regensburg and to enter into dialogue directly with sustainability stakeholders. Most recently, on 15 November 2023, around 20 students worked together to collect various design options. The format is one of the objectives within the Sustainability Strategy 2023 - 2027 (external link, opens in a new window) to promote the university's field of action "Student Engagement".

Promotion of sustainable mobility
an extension of the café opening hours
an expansion of vegan, seasonal and regional food options in the canteen
Promotion of student commitment through increased visibility and extrinsic incentives, such as the possibility of recognition in the degree programme in the form of ECTS credits
