Florian Stokom studied Business Administration (B.Sc.) with a focus on marketing, management and entrepreneurship at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. He then obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (M.Sc.) from the University of Regensburg, specialising in Management and Business Informatics.

During his studies, he gained practical experience in strategic and product-related roles in the financial services sector, including at Allianz Deutschland AG.

Since September 2021, he has worked as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Regensburg. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics, writing his dissertation on “Sustainable Business Model Innovation in Socio-Technical Transitions: Evidence from the Food Industry”. As part of his academic work, he is responsible for the economic analysis and strategic development within the interdisciplinary research project 'ciRcNApp', which explores the scalability of circular RNA technologies in plant protection.
