The faculty attaches particular importance to high-quality teaching and practical orientation, taking into account a sophisticated theoretical foundation, specialisation, interdisciplinarity and internationality. The diversity of the Regensburg School of Business and Economics covers almost all problem areas of business and economics and thus offers excellent prospects for our students' future careers. With the honors elite programmes in economics, the faculty also offers particularly high-performing and talented students the opportunity to receive special support in line with the motto "challenge and support".

National presence - international network

The faculty is also committed to networking both nationally and internationally. The faculty is a member or co-initiator of several centres and institutes, e.g. Center of Finance, ibi research an der Universit?t Regensburg GmbH, East-West Centre (Europaeum), East European Institute.

Our faculty also maintains partnerships with numerous European and non-European universities. As part of the European ERASMUS+ programme, the University of Regensburg works with universities throughout Europe, from Barcelona to Paris to Edinburgh, from Stockholm and St. Petersburg to Athens in the south.

There are also numerous exchange programmes with the USA, e.g. with the University of Colorado and Murray State University.

Strategy for the future

The Faculty of Business, Economics and Real Estate at the University of Regensburg pursues a clear strategy that is orientated towards the four university-wide fields of "Dynamics in the Global World", "Digital Transformation", "Material Worlds and Sustainability" and "Integrated Sciences in Life, Health and Disease". The aim is to strengthen international visibility and competitiveness through excellent research, innovative teaching and interdisciplinary networking. In doing so, the faculty focuses on a close connection between research and teaching, the promotion of young academics and the targeted development of centres of excellence. The courses on offer are consistently aligned with current societal challenges such as digitalisation and sustainability. In addition, measures for equal opportunities, Internationalization and knowledge transfer are being expanded in a targeted manner. In this way, the faculty makes a central contribution to the strategic development of the University of Regensburg
