Equality, diversity and family friendliness are essential for a functioning research landscape and lead to considerable added value.
In its concept, the Collaborative Research Centre TRR374 RENPRO has committed itself to contributing to the development of an infrastructure for sustainable gender equality work. The aim is to promote the diversity of research perspectives and to reduce gender-based prejudice or prejudice based on ethnic or social origin, nationality or religion in science.
The TRR374 equal opportunities funds are used to
- support young female scientists in their scientific careers with the medium-term goal of increasing the proportion of female scientists at project leader level
- promote awareness and sensitivity to diversity
- improve the compatibility of scientific careers and family responsibilities for both male and female scientists
Applications for funding of equal opportunities measures can be submitted at any time via the equal opportunities officer.
A report on the allocation of funds for equal opportunities measures is submitted annually to the TRR374 RENPRO Executive Board.
