Faculty of Biology and Preclinical Medicine
Our Faculty offers excellent conditions for degree programmes in Pre-Clinical Medicine, Biology/Biochemistry and Teaching Degrees/Education. We also offer an interdisciplinary degree programme in molecular medicine.
Our faculty's research covers a broad spectrum of areas such as biomedicine, cellular and structural biochemistry and biophysics, microbiology, genetics, molecular ecology and evolution as well as neurobiology. Biological scales ranging from single molecules to intact cells, tissues and various living organisms are covered using a variety of modern technologies. This diverse research community creates an exciting and stimulating environment for teaching in the biological and biomedical sciences.
