Christian Hutter (external link, opens in a new window) studied economics at the University of Regensburg and the University of Leicester (England) from 2004 to 2008, specialising in empirical economics, econometrics, financial market theory, international and interregional economics and advanced macroeconomics. From 2009 to 2011, he worked as an research assistant at the University of Regensburg at the Chair of Economics (empirical macroeconomics and regional economics). Christian Hutter has been researcher at the IAB since June 2011. He received his doctorate (Dr rer. pol.) from the University of Regensburg in 2014.
