The aim of the Strategic Management course is to demonstrate the basic concepts and techniques of strategic management. These should help to create action plans that deal with current and future developments in an organisation's environment and represent decisions about financial and human resources in order to achieve long-term goals.
The corresponding strategic concepts and techniques will also be practised and applied in case studies as part of the exercise.
The application of these concepts and techniques will be practised in order to understand the reasons for good and bad performance of an organisation and to generate, select and implement strategic options for an organisation.

- Instruments of environmental and competitive analysis
- Instruments of company analysis
- Strategy selection
- Strategy implementation
- Strategy in special sectors
