In the lecture "International Management", the concepts and techniques of corporate management are extended to the problems of global industries and multinational companies. The corresponding concepts and techniques are also practised and applied in the exercise using case studies. In particular, the advantages and disadvantages of cooperative strategies and the difficulties of implementing global strategies, which have to be adapted to local markets on the one hand and are intended to achieve global cost advantages on the other, are analysed. The coordination and control of multinational companies is another main focus of this course.
