Ms Greshnova holds a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Lomonosov Moscow University and a Master's degree in Evolutionary Biology from the Erasmus Mundus Master's Programme (MEME), a double degree awarded jointly by the University of Montpellier and the University of Groningen. As part of the programme, she spent an exchange semester at Penn State University, where she worked on the transcript assembly of ampliconic genes of the Y chromosome in great apes using T2T genome assemblies. She is currently a research assistant in Prof Dr Canzar's group, developing a pipeline to resolve expression of gene families with multiple gene copies at the single gene copy level using long-read transcriptome data and T2T genome assemblies.
