Chair of Real Estate Finance

One focus of the Chair of Real Estate Finance in research and teaching is the characteristics of real estate as an asset class. In addition to direct investments, this includes in particular indirect investments via open-ended property funds or real estate stock corporations or REITs. Another focus is on the financing of real estate investments and their securitisation.

Training objectives

In line with the broad range of courses offered by the IRE|BS Institute of Real Estate Economics, the Chair aims to achieve a clear focus. The aim is to provide graduates with a sound methodological education that is geared towards the requirements of property specialists for companies in the financial sector.
