Event: MSc Economics Welcome Event

The Welcome and Introductory Events for new Students of the MSc Economics will take place on Monday, 13 October 2025, at 10:15 am in lecture hall H 26. This is the first lecture day of the winter semester.

10.15 - 12.00 (in lecture theatre H 26)

• Getting to know each other (students, tutors, professors)
• Presentation of the M.Sc. Economics programme across all four semesters

12.15 - 13.15 hrs

• Joint walk to the canteen of the University of Regensburg
• Please load your Mensa card/student ID before Monday 13 October (to avoid queues) so that you have enough euros on your card to pay in the Mensa.

13.15 - 14.15

• Campus and library tour by tutors

14.15 - 16.00 (in lecture theatre H 26)

• Presentation of the International Office
• Introduction to our mentoring programme
• Presentation of important online tools
• UREcon activities
• Activities of the student council
• Activities at the institute and the faculty
• Activities at the UR outside the study programme

16.00 - 17.00 (in lecture theatre H 26)

• Drinks and snacks
