Prof Gabriel Lee, PhD

Real estate economics introduces the most important topics that play a role in understanding cities and property markets (commercial property markets as well as housing markets): The influence of economics principles on the demand for property, how property markets work, the relationship between land use, land value and location. Students who have taken this subject should understand how property markets work and how they are related to other markets. Also covered are the reasons for government intervention, the forms of government intervention and the evaluation of relevant policy measures.
