Video digitization

All students and employees of the University of Regensburg can have video formats digitized free of charge for scientific purposes in the MultiMediaCenter. The MultiMediaCenter offers the following services for films on video cassette or DVD:

• Digitizing video cassettes (VHS)
• Copy DVDs to DVDs
• cut out individual film sequences
• Play videos and DVDs with different country codes
• Play videos and DVDs with different formats

If you would like to take advantage of our video digitization services, please bring the original media and a storage medium of your choice to the MultiMediaCenter (Central Library, rooms 519) or contact us in advance by telephone (0941 943 -1606/ -1607/ -1608/ -1553) or by e-mail (mmz@ur.de).
