On 23.12.2025, all reading rooms will have reduced opening hours from 08:00 to 20:00.?

The library including all reading rooms will be closed from 24.12.2025 up to and including 06.01.2026.

The following exceptions apply to selected reading rooms:

• Reading Room Law 1, Reading Room Economics: Friday, 02.01.2026, up to and including Monday, 05.01.2026: open daily from 09:00 to 18:00
• Reading Room Philosophicum 1, Reading Room?Philosophicum 2: Friday, 02.01.2026, Saturday, 03.01.2026 and Monday, 05.01.2026: open from 09:00 to 18:00

Reading Rooms

The University Library is closed on public holidays, Holy Saturday, Pentecost Saturday, 24. December and 31. December.
On Shrove Tuesday it is closed from 12:00. The reading rooms Philosophicum, Law 1/Economics and Law 2 remain open until 18:00.
