Leo Poss recently participated in the CooPIS 2025 conference in Marbella, Spain, where he presented two new research papers, both co-authored with Stefan Sch?nig.
His presentation featured two distinct works:
- Orchestrating Cyber-Physical Operations with PRiME: A Passive Resource-Integrated Modeling Extension for BPMN – This paper details a new BPMN extension (PRiME) designed to effectively manage and track physical passive resources, such as materials and tools, within cyber-physical operational systems.
 - One Engine to Rule Them All: Executing Declarative Processes with CEP – This work introduces a novel method for running flexible, declarative processes directly on a Complex Event Processing (CEP) engine, aiming for a simpler architecture and lower latency in handling real-time IoT events.

Following the presentations, Leo Poss was honored with the "Best Demo Paper" Award for his contributions presented at the conference. The full proceedings will be available soon.
