(Engl.: Methods of digital media research - discussion on the “Handbook of Digital Media and Methods”)

This handbook provides an initial inventory of the methods used in media studies to investigate digital cultures. It provides an overview of media cultural studies research designs and the handling of research data.

Prof. Dr. Sven Stollfu? (University of Leipzig) and Dr. Felix Raczkowski (University of Bayreuth) will be guests in the next DIMAS DAS|LAB brownbag session on 27 February 2025. Together with DIMAS Managing Director, Dr. Laura Niebling, they are editors of the Handbook of Digital Media and Methods (Springer 2025). The event is a discussion between the three of them about current media research on and with digital media and the difficult history of media research in German-speaking countries, moderated by Prof. Dr. Astrid Ensslin (DAS|LAB).
