Ekaterina Berdysheva
Ekaterina Berdysheva was born in Izhevsk (Russian Federation), where she finished school, then obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics (Intercultural Communication), together with her first working experience as a foreign language tutor and a translator. Since 2020, she has been residing in Regensburg, Germany, doing a Master’s in European Studies. Since October 2022, she has been a part of the Regensburg University not only as a student, but as an Student Assistant. Ms. Berdysheva joined the Professorship for Transregional History in April 2023.
Her academic interests include the history of cinema and its connection with the sociopolitical situation of the countries, namely Italy, the Soviet Union and the Weimar Republic. During her free time, she enjoys learning foreign languages, reading, engaging in volunteer activities and, of course, traveling.?
