Music at the University

Research and teaching are the fundamental tasks of a university. However, on top of academic excellence and creativity, Universit?t Regensburg also places great emphasis on responsibility, interdisciplinarity and the ability to communicate and cooperate.

Playing music together is a fantastic way to acquire and practice all these key qualifications. This is why student music ensembles are especially supported at Universit?t Regensburg.

Regensburg boasts a musical university campus that is unique in Bavaria with three orchestras, two big bands, with both a big university choir and a chamber choir as well as jazz combos, wind bands and various other groups.

Thanks to the musical activities of our students we can offer between seven and ten musical soirees - and the ticket prices are unbeatable.
