CV
Markus Hornsteiner studied Business Informatics at the University of Regensburg. His primary area of study was security, especially in an industrial context. He gained knowledge in this direction through his work at the Chair of Information Systems IV. He was involved in the "Sensor Data Research Group" and supported the Security Management course. Besides the university, he also gained practical experience through his apprenticeship at a mechanical engineering company, as a working student, and as a founder of his own companies. Markus Hornsteiner is a research assistant in the INSIST (INduStrial IoT Security Operations CenTer) research project. His focus is on security in industrial environments and implementing security policies by modeling security and IIoT aware business processes.
