Welcome!
The chair of Biochemistry III at the University of Regensburg is dedicated to research and teaching. We aim to contribute to our understanding of fundamental cellular processes, as well as to the education of students in the disciplines of biochemistry, biology and medicine.
The objective of our research is to increase our understanding of important RNA-based cellular processes. To this end, we are investigating the processes of translation, eukaryotic ribosome biognesis, and nuclear RNA synthesis.
