Research Interest

I am a doctoral student in the Emmy Noether Group. I want to understand how and why visual learning and plasticity change over the life span. I have experience in psychophysics and advanced imaging techniques in human participants (including functional magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion tensor imaging). I am especially interested in the contribution of inhibitory brain networks to changes in visual learning and plasticity from childhood to young adulthood, and then to older adulthood.?
